The Role

RepTrak is launching a channel strategy for reaching a broader audience of buyers and developing products appropriately as part of our ambitious growth plans. For 15 years we have collaborated with partners including PR agencies in countries where we do not have a physical presence and we would now like to architect a strategic and thoughtful map and execution plan to dramatically expand our reach in the US and across select markets globally.  

Leveraging the RepTrak® framework and database, RepTrak wants to sell to and partner with Channel Partners to drive revenue where necessary, or determine if Reptrak can manage this revenue growth in select regions or countries independently. The Director will be responsible for developing the specific business plan for this, based on initial work already conducted and to assess potential partners across functions such as consulting, PR agencies, PE firms and audit firms.  They will be responsible for developing the product and pricing model, assisting in closing deals with partners, and helping set up the delivery process to service the partners.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Business Plan: Taking point of departure in the initial work done by Ri the Director will lead the business plan development from idea to action plan. This includes mapping the potential partners from different industries, exploring different revenue models, and identifying the most relevant partners.

    Product development: The Director will lead the product development, pricing, and packaging to ensure RepTrak has a compelling product to sell to Channel Partners.

    Go to Market: The Director will be responsible for the go to market plan and implementation. This includes leading the sales process with the potential partners, outlining proposals, and closing the deals, and ensuring that the Partner is aware and executing on the new company strategy.

    Client Delivery: The Director is responsible for outlining how RepTrak delivers to the partners. This includes building out a plan for how to staff this business line and manage the day to day client delivery.

This position will report to the SVP of Global Account Management and work closely with the SVP and CRO on the most high profile partnerships.  It has tremendous opportunity to accelerate the rate of growth of the company which is already in the 20%+ range.

Professional Qualifications

The Strategic Account Management team is responsible for overseeing client account management, particularly in regard to developing account strategy, guiding the renewal process, negotiating contracts, and identifying successful cross- and upsell opportunities.  As such, these roles carry annual retention and new revenue quotas with the target to improve client retention and increase average contract value.

  • Cross-functional collaboration and project management: Plan each client presentation working with internal and external team members; set and execute against your own project plan. Have an entrepreneurial mindset, be a critical and creative thinker.
  • Storytelling: You will be working within a proven model to develop insights and recommendations. Analyze RepTrak’s data in collaboration with the data science team to uncover key findings. Become a storyteller, building compelling presentations that drive toward the client’s stated goals and strategy.
  • Thought leadership: Contribute to executive-level workshops and other engagement points with RepTrak clients.Be part of RepTrak’s ongoing efforts to build case studies and a deeper understanding of the impact of our model

Professional Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of proven, evidence-based advisory experience delivering insights and recommendations. We’d like to see that you have worked for a communications or marketing agency, or for an analyst, consulting or market research firm.
  • An ability to communicate complex data in a straightforward style to effectively deliver analytical outputs to clients and team.
  • Experience in preparing reports and insights for clients on time with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to support or conduct in-person advisory sessions that result in accelerated learning.
  • Proficient data capture and data quality skills including aligning client requirements with a comprehensive analysis plan, data manipulation and data presentation. Collaborate with data science team to implement predictive algorithms and machine learning models to drive deeper insights.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and interest in adapting insights to audience needs and applying RepTrak data to trends affecting our clients and their industries
  • Knowledge and interest in ESG and marketing, communications, brand, and/or public affairs.

The Role

The senior candidate will lead the engagement of key accounts' new prospects from initial meeting to end of sales process to meet designated quota.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a keen understanding of Reputation Management and Stakeholder Measurement across global Understanding and communicating the key challenges facing The Reptrak Company corporate communications teams in establishing a sustainable company reputation.
  • Prospecting, networking and follow-up that assures achievement of monthly meetings/leads pipeline target level

  • Advance pipeline deals in accordance with the RepTrak sales process.
  • Building and managing a high-quality prospect pipeline through account targeting, inbound lead follow-up, prospecting and networking into a dedicated Named Accounts
  • Leveraging research and marketing content and events to stimulate prospects and develop an ongoing dialogue that moves prospects through the sales
  • Scheduling, professionally presenting and providing consistent follow up on all sales meetings
  • Follow the RepTrak sales process
  • Maintain discipline within Salesforce.com
  • Accurately record all account & pipeline details, pipeline phasing and forecast accuracy

Professional Qualification

  • 8+ years’ experience in an executive-focused, business development sales role; preferably in a technology consultative, SAAS or market analytics-based environment.
  • Proven experience in penetrating the C-Suite in Fortune 500 companies to collaborate with decision makers by leveraging Reptrak content, research and marketing
  • Highly organized, energized, focused individual with excellent presentation and communications
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organization; and is able to bring best practice sales methodology to develop junior team members.
