Senior Manager, Account Management

The Role

The Strategic Account Management team is responsible for overseeing client account management, particularly in regard to developing account strategy, guiding the renewal process, negotiating contracts, and identifying successful cross- and upsell opportunities.  As such, these roles carry annual retention and new revenue quotas with the target to improve client retention and increase average contract value.

Successful team members will seamlessly integrate into the existing client team to enhance the client experience and chart a thoughtful path to value-added services.  Demonstrated excellence in communication, problem-solving, relationship building, and team collaboration will set the best candidates apart.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Client Services to ensure a rhythmic client experience.
  • Expand and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain our value
  • Spearhead the development and execution of annual account strategies aimed at revenue growth
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all subscription-based renewals
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Help with collections and invoicing as needed
  • Clearly communicate the progress of ongoing initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend and support client services meetings
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Regularly gather client feedback to fuel internal advocacy for change to improve client experience
  • Improve ACV

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, communications or related field
  • 7+ years of work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role in a subscription based company
  • Proven ability to establish and build relationships with executive-level clients
  • Demonstrated capability to be successful and drive results in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience identifying and delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce and Insight Squared)
  • Characteristics indicative of a good cultural fit - high integrity, good judgement, diligence, global perspective, and excellent organizational skills
  • Travel required

Compensation

 The Role

We are currently looking to hire a VP of Sales, EMEA & APAC. Reporting into the Senior Vice-President of Global Sales, this critical revenue generating role is responsible for developing & managing a best-in-class sales team that is driven each day to create the right customer engagements within the RepTrak sales process in order to hit bookings targets and drive revenue growth

Responsibilities Include  

  • Execute Sales Strategy Drive strategies/priorities that align with Reptrak’s and Direct Sales team’s vision, mission, and business growth outcomes.
  • Support an AMAZING customer experience– execute on process and track metrics to manage and ensure an “amazing” customer sales experience
  • Team Development- Advance the skills, knowledge, effort & approach of Senior Sales Directors & BDR’s.
  • High-Performance, diverse, respectful, and high-engagement culture – Foster & support our values, high growth, innovation, meritocracy, diversity of experience and backgrounds, respect of teammates and overall business priorities
  • Daily sales execution- Manage, coach, and expand team’s ability to learn and execute on our Reptrak Sales process and methodology daily by understanding sales team, and marketing input performance, by leveraging systems including Salesforce and our sales analytics platforms
  • Great Team Player – work closely with our product, marketing, L&D, sales operations, customer success and external partner teams to drive key initiatives.
  • Manage an effective recruiting process– Ensure we have the right people, skills, and process to meet our headcount needs, and accelerate onboarding of our new AE’s
  • Actively manage the performance of all team members: Analyze root cause of performance goals that fall short of target and rapidly deploy appropriate countermeasures to ensure achievement of business plans
  • Build meaningful communication and change management mode– ensure sales teams are educated and informed to do their job well. Establish frequent, consistent, and effective communication across all levels of the sales organization that ensures effective change management protocol that builds alignment and trust

 Professional Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in an executive-focused, business development sales role; preferably in a technology consultative, SAAS or market analytics-based environment.
  • 3-5 years management experience across multiple countries and markets in EMEA and/or APAC
  • Track record for managing teams that outperform target. Highly organized, energized, focused individual with excellent presentation and communications
  • Successful track record of hiring and growing talent
  • Disciplined leader capable of adopting and managing to the RepTrak Sales Process
  • Rigor around salesforce.com, forecasting and analytics in order to identify opportunities, risks and manage performance at a rep and team level
  • Experience selling to communications, investor relations, marketing or market insights departments is a big plus
  • Experience selling tech or advisory services
  • Multi-lingual is not necessary but is a plus

Sales Director

The Role

The senior candidate will lead the engagement of key accounts' new prospects from initial meeting to end of sales process to meet designated quota.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a keen understanding of Reputation Management and Stakeholder Measurement across global Understanding and communicating the key challenges facing The Reptrak Company corporate communications teams in establishing a sustainable company reputation.
  • Prospecting, networking and follow-up that assures achievement of monthly meetings/leads pipeline target level
  • Maintain a level of meeting activity that will sustain consistent pipeline generation on a rolling 30 day basis.
  • Advance pipeline deals in accordance with the RepTrak sales process.
  • Building and managing a high-quality prospect pipeline through account targeting, inbound lead follow-up, prospecting and networking into a dedicated Named Accounts
  • Leveraging research and marketing content and events to stimulate prospects and develop an ongoing dialogue that moves prospects through the sales
  • Scheduling, professionally presenting and providing consistent follow up on all sales meetings
  • Follow the RepTrak sales process
  • Maintain discipline within Salesforce.com
  • Accurately record all account & pipeline details, pipeline phasing and forecast accuracy

Professional Qualification

  • 8+ years’ experience in an executive-focused, business development sales role; preferably in a technology consultative, SAAS or market analytics-based environment.
  • Proven experience in penetrating the C-Suite in Fortune 500 companies to collaborate with decision makers by leveraging Reptrak content, research and marketing
  • Highly organized, energized, focused individual with excellent presentation and communications
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organization; and is able to bring best practice sales methodology to develop junior team members.
  • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills within a team development
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within established sales process
  • Fluent in Salesforce.com
  • Ability to travel
  • Required BA/BS degree with a concentration in marketing, business administration, communications or a related MBA preferred
